GP Ettore and Mario Barbetta on the track
A Milano un Thursday April 25 which gives trotting enthusiasts a nice day of racing, starting from 15, including the 2024 edition of Grand Prix Mario and Ettore Barbetta, two great figures of the Italian trot: hector he was a pioneer of trotting in Italy in the first decades of the twentieth century and among the races won he is remembered as the winner of the first European championship in Cesena with the horse Homer in 1927; Mario, son of Ettore, in sulky was considered a guide for entire generations of drivers; outside the track he has always stood out for his education and respect, even in his role as race commissioner.
The program, valid for 19th day of the season and last before the break of May and June with a goodbye to the recovery scheduled for Thursday July 11, also includes the non-horse racing part. During the afternoon, in fact, the facility hosts a lot animation and entertainment for children and their families. In the open and also covered area reserved for entertainment, the staff of Pepe Party Milan organizes games, workshops, baby dances and much more, while on the lawn near the entrance there are the ponies of CIL – Lombardy Equestrian Center – ready to let children aged 3 to 13 experience the thrill of 'Baptism of the saddle'. As a background also the Dj set for a day of beautiful music!
For everyone, however, the hot and cold food bars are active for lunch or for a coffee or aperitif. All entertainment activities are included in the entrance ticket rate – 3 euros – only for adults, while access is free for minors and certified disabled people with a companion. Possibility of Tour in the stables de La Maura with the help of a guide with a 20 euro ticket.
