Betting: Court of Catania acquits owner of CED Goldbet

(Jamma) – The Court of Catania, another important test in the field of betting, also applies the Biasci sentence to Goldbet.

At the hearing of 25 October 2013, the Judge accepted the request for immediate acquittal made by the lawyer Marco Ripamonti of the Court of Viterbo who, in addition to the arguments illustrated in the defense brief filed before the Biasci Sentence, deposited a copy of the Sentence itself, exposing the contents and in particular the profiles of concrete discrimination against Goldbet, supporting the argument with ample documentation. The acquittal sentence is given at the same time as the outcome of the order in which the Judge motivates his determination to proceed with the acquittal pursuant to article 129 of the Code of Criminal Procedure on the basis of the defendant's manifest innocence and, therefore, acquitting with the formula the fact "does not constitute crime". In further support of the legitimacy of the arguments put forward, the defender also produced several sentences handed down in recent days in Palermo in trials always concerning Goldbet data center holders, emphasizing how precisely in Palermo the Public Prosecutor's Office has also recently decided not to validate an initiative seizure carried out in a CED Goldbet.
