The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, through a specific decree, has established that "pursuant to the current racing regulations, in particular articles 69 of the Regulations of the former Italian Jockey Club, 98 of the Regulations of the Society of Steeple Chases of Italy, 7 and 8 of the Regulations of the former National Trotting Racing Board and 75 of the former National Saddle Horse Board, the racing company Hippogroup Roma Capannelle srl is recognized for the year 2024 in the pending the award of the public tender procedure for the awarding of the “Ippodromo delle Capannelle” equestrian facility. Racing companies are obliged to promptly communicate any changes that occur during the detention of the racecourse. The Administration has the right to: a) suspend recognition in the event of verification that the requirements are not met, revoking it if the conditions are not restored within the terms indicated by the suspension provision; b) determine admission to the programming of races and the organization of horse races with a separate provision; c) sign a substitute agreement or other form of contract with the recognized racing company only in the case of organizing races. This provision does not result in new or increased burdens on the State budget. This decree is transmitted to the competent supervisory bodies and published on the Ministry's website".
