(Jamma) According to the Bulletin of the Ministry of Finance, in the period January-April 2013 total revenues amounted to 117.563 million euros (+533 million euros, equal to +0,5%) due to the growth in direct taxes which amount to 63.181 million euros (+2.700 million euros, equal to +4,5%) and the decrease in indirect taxes equal to 54.382 million euros (–2.167 million euros, equal to –3,8%).

Total gaming revenues (which include various taxes classified as both direct and indirect tax revenues) amounted to 4.421 million euros (-28 million euros, equal to -0,6%); considering only indirect taxes the revenue from gaming activities (lotto, lotteries and other gaming activities) is 4.306 million euros (+10 million euros, equal to +0,2%).

In April 2013 from the proceeds of lotto this includes revenues of €519 million (+€36 million, equal to +7,5%), from instant lotteries of €121 million (+€22 million, equal to +22,2%) and from machines and gaming devices for 542 million euros (+216 million euros, equal to +66,3%).

Total collections relating to gaming (which include various taxes classified as both direct and indirect taxes) amounted to 2.689 million euros (+411 million euros, equal to +18,0%);
