Umbria. A gesture of kindness costs her 10 thousand euros: she almost won the G&V

(Jamma) In times of crisis, even a few thousand euros can make a difference, especially if you are in your early twenties and have a job that, unfortunately, still doesn't let you sleep peacefully. But if letting ten thousand euros slip away can be a cause for great displeasure, seeing it slip away as a courtesy gesture can prove to be truly mocking.
This happened a few days ago in a bar in the city centre, where the blindfolded goddess played a bad joke on a girl from Assisi. The young woman entered the bar to buy a pack of cigarettes and a scratch card, showing the retailer one of the coupons on display.
"I was there first", a lady present there would have said at that point, to whom the girl - albeit with some hesitation - gave way. Having regained precedence, the lady bought the Scratch and Win coupon indicated a moment earlier by the young woman and, once paid, she stepped aside to try her luck armed with coins.
Never, however, would the girl have thought that that courtesy gesture would cost her as much as a year's salary or so. The silver patina of that coupon, in fact, hid a win of ten thousand euros for which the incredulous lady rejoiced in front of those present. Shocked and disappointed, but above all empty-handed, the girl left the club with the bitterness of having touched a win that certainly wouldn't have changed her life, but at least gave her some satisfaction.
A few less thoughts also for the lucky lady who a few days ago tried her luck with a card from lotto in a tobacconist's, centering a four on the Bari wheel which gave him over thirty thousand euros compared to the three euros staked in all.
