For the first time, the Gaming Supervision and Control Commission participated in the Thessaloniki International Fair. His presence is linked to strategic updating and the development of extroversion actions and the promotion of his work.

Representatives of the State, the scientific community and citizens had the opportunity to be informed by EEEP managers on the role of the Authority in the control and supervision of gambling in Greece, on the effort to protect society and players and safeguard the public interest.

The mission of EEEP for the State, the company and the licensees for the conduct of gambling and betting activities is the effective regulation, supervision and control of the market and the guarantee with a high sense of responsibility of the transparency and solvency of the conduct of games.

In terms of contribution to society, the ESPD takes measures and initiatives to protect players, in particular minors and vulnerable groups of the population, and to prevent and combat addiction to unreasonable gambling, contributing to the creation of a climate of trust between the state and citizens.

On the occasion of the Authority's presence at the 87th TIF, the President of the EEEP, Dimitris Ntzanatos, he has declared: "With our presence at the country's largest fair for the first time, we have taken another step forward in the Commission's effort at extroversion. We want the EEPD to take steps closer to the general public and invest more in its social and institutional role".
