The officials of the Monopolies Office for Abruzzo, as part of the activities to monitor the territory to protect legal and responsible gaming, carried out a verification operation within an establishment located in the Municipality of Vasto (Chieti) and proceeded to check the devices referred to in the art. 110, paragraph 6 letter a) of the Consolidated Law on Public Security.
During the verification, after having registered the meters and opened the devices, the officials found a serious irregularity on one of them. In fact, it was found that, by removing the external shell protecting the game card, the anti-burglary seals required by the specifications on the technical rules were not present.
The officials of the Customs and Monopolies Agency immediately seized the device, affixing the relevant seals.
In the next few days we will sanction all the subjects in the supply chain pursuant to the art. 110 paragraph 9 - letter f) of the TULPS.
