“The aim is to ensure that a whole series of attitudes and stereotypes can be abandoned. How much is it our fault what happens within the work dynamics? Men are more used to asking, we are less. Something tells us we don't deserve it. We give up more easily, I'm talking especially about my generation. How much does power scare us? Why do we limit ourselves to certain attitudes?”.

He said so Immaculate Roman (in the photo), institutional relations director of Code Italy, speaking at the round table “Women empowerment in gaming” as part of the Italian Gaming Expo & Conference underway in Rome.

“I was lucky enough to have had a boss, Massimo Ruta, who allowed me to do things that I would never have even thought of in my life. It is essential that there are enlightened and self-confident men. True equality is beautiful, one in which everyone plays their part, without the man and the woman having to transform. This is the winning key. The stereotype is never a value. This is the dynamic we need to trigger. The changes are also starting to be seen at trade fairs."
