“The gaming market in numbers” shows that Danes' gaming consumption in 2023 decreased by 1,7% compared to 2022. Both lottery, betting and slot machine gambling saw a slight decline in 2023 .

The report also shows that Danes are increasingly playing on sites with permission from the Danish Gambling Authority. In 2023, 90,2% of Danes' online gambling took place on sites that have a permit. This figure was 89,2% in 2022. Lotteries and online casinos are the most popular games.

In addition to statistics for the gambling market in Denmark, the report also contains key figures for ROFUS (Register of Voluntarily Excluded Players) and StopSpillet, the helpline of the Danish Responsible Gambling Authority.
