Added My League, improved Co-op Event Room, new login mini-games and much more
Konami Digital Entertainment BV announces a new update (version 3.2.0) for eFootball™ 2024. With this update, eFootball™ 2024 introduces a host of new features to enhance the in-game experience and take the fun to a new level. The new “My League” mode will see players participate in leagues around the world and face the season against AI-controlled clubs.
Improvements have been made to the Co-op mode: users will now be able to play alone, joining other players in match rooms and thus creating new bonds in 3v3 matches. Daily mini-games have also been introduced, which can be played when logging in, which will allow users to win fantastic daily and monthly prizes!
Finally, KONAMI is pleased to confirm the new format of the eFootball™ Championship tournaments. Two events will be held in 2024: the eFootball™ Championship Open (in its usual format) and the new “eFootball™ Championship Club Event” format.
MyLeague
My League is a new game mode in eFootball™ 2024. Users will play against the AI one season at a time using their Dream Team. Users will be able to add players on loan from the selected team in the league (for example, AC Milan in the Italian league) to their team. The matches will also be characterized by variable weather (which will reflect the atmospheric conditions of the city where the match is played) and by special celebrations, reserved for those who win the trophy by reaching the top of the rankings! This game mode can be played as many times as you want, it will be possible to change leagues after completing the season.
Co-op Event Room
Co-op mode has been expanded to allow users to enjoy alone or with friends. It will be possible to join other solo players to create teams of three and have fun together. Players will be able to interact in-game using emojis to react to events during matches. From 7 to 21 December, all those who play in Co-op mode will be able to receive exclusive rewards, including 4 Skill Training Programs useful for improving their Dream Teams.
Login mini-game
Every day, users will be able to compete in easy mini-games, winning items that will contribute to the improvement of the Dream Teams or earning new players. By completing a consecutive number of daily mini-games during the same month it will be possible to obtain valuable rewards, such as the possibility of unlocking Epic footballers!
New Skill – “Blitz Curler”
This update also introduces a new ability that will make all attackers happy! The “Blitz Curler” skill will allow you to make precise and controlled shots with vertical rotation when using your player's dominant foot and the power indicator is above 50%.
eFootball™ Championship evolves
eFootball™ Championship 2024 will inaugurate a new chapter for the official eSports tournaments of the eFootball™ series.
While eFootball™ Championship Open will remain unchanged, KONAMI announces the arrival of a new tournament: eFootball™ Championship Club Event.
Club Events will see users from around the world compete in-game to become the top fan of each of the participating clubs. After an initial phase of online qualifiers for each region, the regional winners will come together for a final that will decide who will represent the club at the world finals.
The first Club Event – “eFootball™ Championship 2024 FC Barcelona” – will start on Monday 11 December. In-game prizes will be available throughout the tournament, such as special edition Big Time cards and club merchandise up for grabs for eFootball™ and football lovers!
