After the defeat in the Indian Wells semi-final, the Italian makes an assault on a tournament of which he was a finalist in 2023. Medvedev, reigning champion, first pursuer at 6,75

Jannik Sinner (pictured) tries again. After the defeat in the semi-final against Carlos Alcaraz in Indian Wells, the challenge between the Italian and the Spaniard moves to Miami, home of the second Masters 1000 of the season in which Sinner reached the final last year, beating Alcaraz in the semi-final, before yielding in the decisive act to Daniil Medvedev. Unlike Indian Wells, Miami will miss Novak Djokovic, who will not take the court in Florida: for this reason, Alcaraz and Sinner are seeded number 1 and 2 respectively, and can therefore only face each other in the final. Carlos leads the antepost odds at 3,05, followed by Sinner at 3,45. Medvedev, finalist in Indian Wells and reigning champion in Miami, is very far behind, on the board at 6,75, with Zverev at 15.

Berrettini is back – The Masters 1000 in Miami marks the return to the major circuit of Matteo Berrettini, who returned to the field last week in the Phoenix Challenger, where he reached the final, losing against the Portuguese Nuno Borges. A triumph for Berrettini - who will make his debut against Murray - pays 125 times the stakes. Lorenzo Musetti, who became a father a few days ago, instead plays 250 like other Italians: Matteo Arnaldi, Flavio Cobolli, Lorenzo Sonego and Luciano Darderi.

Women – In the women's tournament, Polish Iga Swiatek leads the ante-post odds, at 2,25; followed by the Kazakh Elena Rybakina at 4,00 and the American Coco Gauff at 7,00. Tenth of her is Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, shaken by the tragic death of her partner Konstantin Koltsov in the last few hours. Jasmine Paolini at 10 the first of the Italians.
