From Sunday in Melbourne Jannik will be chasing the first Slam title of his career: the opponents are the usual ones, the Serbian and the Spaniard, with the Italian having a lower odds than Medvedev's 10

The victory in the Davis Cup and, before that, the final reached at the ATP Finals in Turin after defeating Novak Djokovic in the group stage, have exponentially increased the expectations on Jannik Sinner (in the picture). The Italian started 2024 with a clear objective: to reach the bottom of the Slam tournaments too. And, in this sense, the first opportunity arrives in Melbourne with the Australian Open, where the blue is the fourth seed in the draw and the third favorite for the final victory. On Snai, champion Sinner is playing at 7,00, with Djokovic at 2,00 and Alcaraz at 4,00 ahead of him. Instead, Medvedev follows at 10, Rune and Zverev at 25 and the De Minaur-Dimitrov couple at 40. Very far behind are Matteo Berrettini at 150 and Lorenzo Sonego at 500, with Lorenzo Musetti who does not have his own share and falls into the 'Other' category, on the board at 15.

Final and semi-final – Odds for at least one Italian tennis player in the semi-final or final are also available on Snai. An Italian (not necessarily Sinner) in the first four pays 1,75, one in the final pays 2,75.

Women – In the women's tournament, however, there seems to be no room for the blues, with Camila Giorgi first representative on the board at 250. The Polish Iga Swiatek dominates at 3,25, then Aryna Sabalenka at 5,00, Elena Rybakina at 5,50 and Coco Gauff at 7,50. The fight seems limited to these four players, considering that Jessica Pegula, fifth in the antepost scoreboard, starts with 20.
