At the center of the debate is the hypothesis of 40 million for new jobs and a future casino

“One of the main investees cannot be the subject of attention of the press and not of the competent bodies of the shareholder”. This was said at the opening of today's Valle d'Aosta Regional Council, speaking on behalf of the minority groups, by the group leader of the Valdôtain Rassemblement, Stefano Aggravi, after an article published today on the regional pages of the newspaper La Stampa according to which 40 million euros would be needed for new works on the Saint-Vincent casino and the nearby Grand Hotel Billia.

The meeting of the Valle Council – writes the Dire agency – began with a suspension for a meeting of the minority groups, requested by the councilor of the mixed group, Claudio Restano, for a discussion on the topic. When work resumed, speaking on behalf of the minority groups, Aggravi asked for the fourth commission to be convened "today" for the hearing of the sole director of the gaming house, Rodolfo Buat, and of the top management of Finaosta spa, the regional financial institution, which has entrusted "Ernst&Young", one of the major auditing firms, with consultancy on the future of the gaming house: "If this is allowed to us, we will move forward, otherwise we will evaluate what to do", he said.

After a second suspension for a majority meeting, the commitment to convene the hearing was made by the president of the fourth commission, Roberto Rosaire, who stated that a special session will be scheduled in which the leaders of Casino de la Vallée and Finaosta will be heard.
