Below we report the speeches of the politicians present at the adoption of the decree to reorganize online gaming, held this morning by the sector associations in the Senate Finance Committee. The senator Massimo Garavaglia (LSP-PSd'Az), taking the floor after the intervention of Geronimo Cardia (Acadi), stated that “the 7 million (for the concession, ed.) are a barrier to entry for companies. He then said that "'without delay' is not a term that can be used in a law, but if the desire is to do it immediately, let it be done immediately, and the Commission will be able to intervene on this too". After the intervention of Generous Bloise (Sapar), senators Fausto Orsomarso (FdI), Cristina Tajani (PD-IDP), Claudio Lotito (FI-BP-PPE), Filippo Melchiorre (FdI) and Massimo Garavaglia (LSP-PSd'AZ) spoke.

Philip Melchior (FdI) asked "if there are any initiatives implemented by the association to respond to the problem of gambling addiction".
Massimo Garavaglia (LSP-PSd'Az) asked "if there are concrete suggestions on how to harmonize the different types of games, giving the player the opportunity to choose the one he wants".
