As part of the examination of the Budget Law in the Senate, article 91 (Estimates of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and related provisions) and article 108 (Miscellaneous provisions) were approved, containing references to the game, in the text proposed by the Commission.

(…) The Minister of Economy and Finance, with his own decrees, provides, in the financial year 2024, for the adjustment of the appropriations of the chapters intended for the payment of prizes and winnings from prediction games, betting and lotteries, in correspondence with the actual trend of the related collections. The sums allocated on chapter 2295 of the estimate of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, intended for interventions already under the responsibility of the abolished Agency for the Development of the Horse Racing Sector, for the financing of the prize pool of the races , in case of failure to adopt the decree provided for by article 1, paragraph 281, of law 30 December 2004, n. 311, or, in any case, pending its issuance, constitute the determination of the share of state and non-state revenue deriving from public games with cash winnings entrusted under concession to the State pursuant to paragraph 282 of the same article 1 of the aforementioned law no. . 311 of 2004.
