As part of the examination of the "Assigned deal concerning the Report on the state of implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), updated to 31 May 2023 (Doc. XIII, n. 1) (n. 182)" in Social Affairs Commission of the Senate, President Zaffini (FdI) drew attention to the "need to finance the health system, which may be subject to extraordinary measures". He then recalled the "great importance of the single tax levy on games for the financing of health care. The gaming sector itself is worthy of specific weighting, in order to limit the risks of pathological behaviour, destined among other things to determine negative financial repercussions on health care”, thus hoping for “a specific and shared agenda in the Shareholders' Meeting”.
