(Jamma) The meeting of the Prosuttive Activities Commission of the Lombardy Region is scheduled for 3 October, during which the draft of the bill on gambling will be examined. The text brings together in a single document the various bills, arrived from the junta and from various groups of the regional council (PDL, Lega Nord and Fratelli d'Italia). Even the Democratic Party had presented its own bill, in the last legislature, which concerned in particular the social and health aspect of the gambling addiction problem. Among the measures envisaged by the document, approved by the working group, there is the introduction of a minimum distance of 500 meters between the new slot rooms and some places defined as "sensitive" such as schools and oratories.
The ASLs will have to equip themselves with a specialized structure for taking charge of pathological subjects and will hold training courses for the managers of the premises where there are slots. There will also be rules and courses, on the subject of gambling addiction, for the training of local police officers. The Region will then introduce the "Slot free" brand, which will be granted by the Municipalities to establishments that decide to give up electronic gambling equipment. There will also be establishedreward measures», for example with favorable scores in calls for incentives for commercial activities, for places without slots. Finally, the junta will have to establish the methods of access and the limitations in the areas intended for play within the exercises. All the political forces present at the Pirellone were part of the group.
The works were led by the councilor of the Northern League Fabio Rolfi, assisted by: Giulio Gallera (Pdl), Mario Barboni (Pd), Stefano Buffagni (Movimento 5 Stelle), Daniela Maroni (Lista Maroni president), Michele Busi (Civic Pact Ambrosoli) and Riccardo De Corato (Brothers of Italy).
