Pdl Esodati: financial coverage proposed by measures on gaming

(Jamma) The examination of some bills which intervene on the exodus issue and propose various changes to the pension reform wanted by the former minister Elsa Fornero has begun in the Labor Commission in the Chamber. The rapporteur Marialuisa Gnecchi (PD), recalled that the purpose of these bills is precisely to allow those who were close to retirement to be able to obtain a pension.

In particular, two bills presented respectively by Cesare Damiano (Pd) and Renata Polverini (Pdl) propose to finance the various measures through new rules on gaming. Both bills quantify the higher costs to be covered as "240 million euros for 2013, 630 million euros for 2014, 1.040 million euros for 2015, 1.220 million euros for 2016 , 1.030 million euros for the year 2017, 610 million euros for the year 2018 and 300 million euros starting from the year 2019″. To cover these expenditures, "the Ministry of the Economy and Finance - Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies, within sixty days from the date of entry into force of this law, adopts measures regarding online public games, instant lotteries and machines and gaming devices, useful in order to ensure, with reference to the contractual relationships existing on the same date of entry into force of this law, the collection of the increased revenue referred to in paragraph 1. Starting from the year 2013, the increased revenue deriving from the implementation of the provisions referred to in this paragraph, ascertained annually by decree of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, are reassigned to the fund referred to in article 1, paragraph 235, of the law of 24 December 2012, n. 228″.

Furthermore, the bills presented by Messrs. Fedriga and Caparini (Lnp) establish that the coverage of the charges (moreover not quantified) takes place from the resources of the Fund for development and cohesion, as well as, similarly to the Damiani and Polverini bills , based on the higher revenues deriving from measures concerning public gaming.
