“In San Marino the market is complex, thinking in terms of the evolution of this market is never simple, the topic must always be approached delicately. I tried to ensure that the new law had a higher level of proactivity towards the problem of pathological gambling than any other European country. The idea was to create machines that can be remotely controlled for all their characteristics, we are talking about a fluid and no longer static rule, which can be adjusted by monitoring the machines. Politics has a high focus on this sector, we have created a certainly innovative product that can provide answers to all the problems related to gambling addiction".

The engineer said it. Francesco Gatti (in the photo), standard consultant for the San Marino State Games Authority, speaking at the conference "The new standard on San Marino winning machines between innovation and player protection" organized by Jamma as part of the Enada Primavera fair underway in Rimini .

“We would like to have ten thousand players who spend one euro a day. With an hourly loss limit it is possible to give a maximum cost to gaming-related entertainment, managing to contain pathological gaming. A cost is established that may be acceptable, 50 euros per hour, which is certainly a significant cost, but we must consider that we are talking about gaming machines. In this way we manage not to exceed, we are talking about a solution that could also be used in Italy", concluded Gatti.
