Milleproroghe, the rules on games disappear

(Jamma) It was decided to publish the Milleproroghe decree in the Official Gazette exactly today, December 30, on the same day on which the identical rules contained in the old Salva-Roma decree will expire. In this way they will be replaced without interruption by those included in the new provision. However, the Milleproroghe remains at very high voltage. What is known - as Il Messaggero writes - is that all the rules on the gaming sector have disappeared from the text. Another theme on which a clash between the various souls of the majority would have taken place. So much so that, according to rumors circulating in recent days, there has even been a dispute over proxies between Undersecretary Alberto Giorgetti and Pier Paolo Baretta. The rule that had caused the most discussion, namely the cut of funds to the Municipalities that place limits on the opening of cinemas, does not exist. After all, after the controversy, it had already been skipped even by the original Salva Roma decree. All the paragraphs on slot concessions for dealers have also disappeared together. Now the milleproroghe will have to start its process in Parliament. To avoid the risk of a new assault on the diligence, the Head of State, Giorgio Napolitano, sent a harsh letter to the presidents of the Chamber and Senate, Laura Boldrini and Piero Grasso, sending them to supervise. The latter immediately complied, promising "penalty" and otherwise threatening to block the amendments.
