“It is wrong, serious and we will oppose the possibility of sponsorship of football teams and advertising by sports betting companies.” These are the words of Mauro Berruto (in the photo), deputy and sports manager of the PD, after theapproval final of the Council of Ministers of the legislative decree for the reorganization of the online gaming sector. “A provision – underlines Berrutto – which presents many critical issues including the possibility of allocating the proceeds of the fund created with the taxation of the extra profits of football-related betting companies to Serie A teams.
