“In 2020 I created a fundraising campaign to create the world's first game about Freudian psychoanalysis. This was successful and from then on I started producing the video game. Obviously I didn't just deal with this, I in fact created video games on mental health, on health in the company, on the health of adolescents. These are small videogames that all have the great objective of talking about very thorny and complex topics, reaching schools. In Italy there would be many young people who could be game designers, a world of professions which however is not sufficiently stimulated because there is a big problem regarding the future. As independent developers we need the possibility, in addition to the trax credit that has been introduced, to shine a light on a fundamental fact at a political level: the turnover of video games in Italy is equivalent to 2,2 billion euros, surpassing music and cinemas put together. At a competitive level we could produce many high quality video games, including cultural ones, we could do it if there were measures that would allow the sector to grow. We ask for the restoration of the First Playable Fund, which in 2020 had allocated 4 million euros as a non-refundable grant to try to help small independent developers".

He said so Luck Emperor (pictured in the centre), video game developer, heard by the joint Culture and Labor Committees of the Chamber on the resolution concerning the introduction of an e-sports discipline.
