Tax Delegation. Marchi (Pd): "The entire gaming system should be reviewed to prevent money laundering and criminal infiltration"

(Jamma) The Hon. Maino Marchi of the Pd in ​​expressing his opinion on the text of the Fiscal Delegation in the Budget Commission, expressed particular appreciation for the measures referred to in article 14 on public gaming, noting that the same pursue the objective of rationalizing a system which led, on the one hand, to an increase in turnover of the licensee companies, on the other hand, has not ensured a corresponding increase in revenue for the State and has generated phenomena of social alarm, with a growth in gambling addiction. According to him, the entire system should therefore be reviewed, also with the aim of avoiding the risk of interference of a criminal nature and of preventing the laundering of the proceeds of criminal activities.
