(Jamma) Increase taxation to finance some changes to be made to the decree on the payment of public administration debts to businesses: this is what is foreseen by 8 amendments presented by the deputies of Sel Giulio Marcon and Titti Di Salvo.
The amendments in question propose changes to the decree (currently being examined by the Special Commission of the Chamber) and, among the sources of funding, indicate the increase in the levy on slots and VLTs: "The Ministry of the Economy and Finance - Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies, with its own executive decrees adopted within thirty days from the date of entry into force of the law converting this decree, issues the provisions, on the subject of amusement machines referred to in Article 110, paragraph 6, letters a) e b), of the Royal Decree of 18 June 1931, n. 773, necessary to increase the amount of the single tax levy by 0,5 percentage points and to reduce the portion of gross collections destined for compensation for management activities or for the points of sale by 0,5 percentage points". Numerous other amendments (about ten) which proposed other changes to the decree to be financed with the increase in taxation on gaming were declared inadmissible due to lack of compensation. Just as some amendments presented by the deputies of the 5 Star Movement, which asked for an increase in the Preu to finance the abolition or reduction of the Imu, were declared inadmissible (due to foreign material or lack of compensation).
