From the end of November bills on gaming under discussion in the Chamber

(Jamma) Yesterday in the Chamber of Deputies, in the conference of group leaders, the request for urgent examination was accepted - presented by all the political groups, with the support of the vice president of the Chamber Luigi Di Maio - for the bills concerning gaming of gambling and the health and social aspects of the phenomenon (prevention and treatment, essential levels of assistance, special funds, compulsory labels…). A fundamental step to really open a discussion on the subject in Parliament. In the Chamber, the bills will be discussed in the Chamber as early as the end of November.

“After the approval of the art. 14 of the tax delegation, concerning precisely this issue, and the birth of the parliamentary intergroup, the Parliament demonstrates – much more than the Government – ​​that the institutions can resist the pressures of the lobbies”, continues Don Armando Zappolini. “Now it is necessary that organized civil society does not let go and follow a debate that will certainly be tough, given the interests at stake. We make it clear to parliamentarians and politicians that there is a real country that is asking for strict regulation of gambling in Italy."
