“Politics must try to help all the protagonists of the gaming world to find a point of union between three fundamental elements: wrong and prohibitionist policies, the protection of economic freedoms, the protection of socially weak subjects. If we really want to do something constructive for the world of gaming, regulating it in an intelligent way, we must all work together, without prejudice. These people carry out an absolutely legal activity and like all others they must be treated with respect and dignity. Let's remember that when legal gambling disappears, illegal gambling increases. Furthermore, let's not forget that with online gaming the proceeds end up in foreign countries and there is insufficient protection for gambling addicts and minors. Today it is evident and clear that an organic reform of the gaming sector is needed in all its aspects. All prohibitionist tendencies and differences relating to distances and times must be corrected. A distance meter and the same times are needed throughout Italy. Clear and consistent rules are essential. I spoke with Deputy Minister Leo and there is a clear will from the Government to act as soon as possible to provide answers".

The deputy of the Brothers of Italy said it, Alessia Ambrosi (in the photo), speaking at the conference “Legal gaming: uniform rules to guarantee security, legality and law”, organized by the Milton Friedman Institute at the Sala della Regina of the Chamber of Deputies.
