The Rassemblement Valdôtain council group presented an immediate response question to the Valle d'Aosta Regional Council in which it asked for an account of the study commissioned by Finaosta on the future of the Saint-Vincent gaming house.

«To date, the fourth council commission has not yet scheduled the hearings regarding the presentation of this study – highlighted the Group Leader Stefano Aggravi -, while some journalists would already have it. We would therefore like to know whether the contents of the article which appeared in La Stampa on 15 March, which spoke of "privatisation" as the path to follow, are true.»

The President of the Region, Renzo Testolin, reported that «Finaosta has forwarded to the Region the study carried out in implementation of the mandate received from the Regional Council on 3 July 2023 for the development of guidelines for the relaunch of the Casino de la Vallée Spa following the closure of the composition procedure. Due to the importance of the topic, the document necessarily needs to be examined and shared by the Regional Council and then be the subject of a majority discussion: this before arriving, for the appropriate decisions, at the discussion path in the fourth Commission council and then in this Chamber to outline the future of the gaming house. At this moment, therefore, it is not so important to know whether or not the press articles correspond to what was highlighted in the study provided by Finaosta, but rather, it is interesting to know that the analysis is progressing and that we will certainly have the opportunity to discuss it in in-depth manner in the near future in the appropriate places and ways, also because the topic is of great interest as well as extremely delicate.»

«I expected a response which I did not receive – replied the Group Leader you aggravate -. The only certainty is that there is no certain timescale: I hope that the study arrives in the designated locations soon.»
