As part of the examination of the Milleproroghe decree, underway at the joint Constitutional Affairs and Budget Commissions of the Chamber, the M5S amendment was highlighted which requests the deletion of paragraph 7 of article 3. In particular, this is the paragraph which extends additional extractions of Lotto and SuperEnalotto until 2024.

Below is the text of paragraph 7 of article 3 of the Milleproroghe decree:
“The provisions of article 21, paragraph 4, first sentence, of the legislative decree of 1 June 2023, n. 61, converted, with amendments, by law 31 July 2023, n. 100, regarding games, also apply in the year 2024. The increased revenue deriving from the first period is allocated to the National Emergency Fund referred to in Article 44 of the Civil Protection Code referred to in the Legislative Decree of 2 January 2018, n. 1”.
