Bubbico (Deputy Minister Internal): "Prohibit gambling effectively"

Piacenza. 'What measures are in place to limit gambling?'

(Jamma) “Household over-indebtedness is a matter of great importance. We are discussing the non-foreclosure nature of first homes, but first of all we need to ask ourselves about the functioning of the credit system: we need to act so that the banks do their job in a manner consistent with the legislative system and the social, even before economic, function they exercise”. This was said this morning in Rome by Filippo Bubbico, deputy interior minister, speaking at the annual national assembly of the Anti-usury Consultation which was also attended by the prefect Elisabetta Belgiorno, and Giuseppe Maresca, director of financial crime prevention (Treasury department).

For Bubbico it is also necessary "to affirm the prohibition of gambling and make it feasible in an effective way". Hence the commitment to organize "a working table to jointly identify solutions to be transformed into acts of a legislative nature". During the debate in the classroom it emerged, among other things, that almost 50% of the gold reserves of Italian families were sold and diverted abroad through the "buy gold". From the participants in the assembly the request to raise the public tax on gambling from the current 11% to 50%. An exponent of the cartel "Together against gambling" warns of the risk that gambling "could be considered an obstacle to accessing the aid procedure provided for by law".
