Bonaccorsi (Pd): “Flop forgive slots? The weaker sections would pay”

(Jamma) “If it were confirmed that the questionable amnesty reserved for slot machine dealers turned out to be a flop, the worst fears feared in recent weeks would be confirmed: the weakest groups are paying for the electoral maneuver on the Imu”. That's what it says Democratic Party MP, Lorenza Bonaccorsi. “Apparently – explains Bonaccorsi – out of the 620 million euros provided for by the regularization of the vending machines, the State will collect only 290 million euros. The rest should therefore be found with increases in excise duties and Irpef and Irap advances. After the one-point increase in VAT, which went from 21 to 22%, this is another measure that affects all Italians indiscriminately, therefore with a greater incidence on the weaker groups”.

"The questionable amnesty on slot machines - adds the Pd parliamentarian - has not only created favorable treatment for a sector that is causing very serious social problems at a territorial level, as all the mayors can testify, but now it will also prove to be yet another blow on the poor".
