(Jamma) A mandatory health card to play slots in order to register players and monitor their gambling habits. With the health card, in fact, it will be possible to access a database that will contain all the information on the type of player: how much money he played, when, how often. And it will be possible to introduce a "self-limitation ceiling" beyond which it will no longer be possible to bet.
The measure is envisaged in the unitary text for "the prevention, contrast and treatment of gambling addiction" on which the select committee in the Social Affairs Commission of the Chamber of Deputies is working. Margherita Miotto (Mp) member of the select committee of deputies who is examining the provision in the Commission explains "It is a cheaper tool than the special player card that was thought of at first" and happy to "interrogate a database that allows the knowledge of everything that has been played”.
