“Dealers today find themselves having to pay a huge amount. As far as online is concerned, we are the first market in continental Europe, the second if we also consider the United Kingdom. Last year in Italy consumers burned 75 billion spent playing online games, 90% through slots. Today we find ourselves in a situation where the top 10 dealers occupy 50% of the market, the second 10 another 40%, the remaining 10% is instead divided between a huge number of dealers. What do the latter want to do? Do they want to continue in this sector? Do they want to leave? Do they want to affiliate with some large dealer? This is the theme we have set ourselves. Why do operators like online so much? Because the chain is much simpler and there are no problems in the area with regions and municipalities, we are talking about a short supply chain that has low costs, where it is also possible to outsource a large part of the activities. We have very good providers who make everything available to you."

He said so Vitaliano Casalone (in the photo) of the Centro Studi Gioco Pubblico, speaking at a conference as part of the Enada Primavera 2024 fair underway in Rimini.
