On Thursday 4 April, the examination of the bill "Regulation of videogame competitions" signed by Marti (Lega) and others continued at the Senate Justice Commission. During the session, President Bongiorno (Lega) recalled that the previous day the rapporteur Rapani (FdI) had carried out the report noting some critical issues in the text. Senator Berrino (FdI) therefore asked to be able to delve deeper into the ban provided for in article 4, paragraph 1 (Participation in video game competitions is not permitted for minors under the age of twelve, ed.) of the bill to clarify some aspects that raise doubts regarding the application of sanctions. President Bongiorno pointed out that, since the examination of the amendments in the merit commission has not yet begun, the opinion will be voted on in the first available session next week. The continuation of the examination was therefore postponed.
