The text of the decree-law of 15 September 2023, n. has been published in the Official Journal of the Italian Republic. 123, coordinated with the conversion law of 13 November 2023, n. 159, containing: «Urgent measures to combat youth hardship, educational poverty and juvenile crime, as well as for the safety of minors in the digital environment.».
In the text, in Article 13 (Parental control applications in electronic communication devices), we read: "For the purposes of this article and Article 14, the following definitions apply: (...) b) electronic communication devices, hereinafter « devices »: smartphones, computers, tablets and, where compatible, video game consoles, and other possible connected objects that allow access to browsers such as televisions, watches, voice assistants, home automation systems and the "Internet of Things";".
