The DGOJ has updated the “Perfil del jugador online” report with data relating to 2023. The number of active players is 1.637.831, with a growth of 2,7% compared to 2022. The average number of active players per month is almost 790.000. In 2023, 345.616 new players were registered. The average expense per active player is 736 euros, equal to an expense of 61,32 euros per month or 14,15 euros per week. Young people between 18 and 25 spend the least, with 333 euros a year, less than half the average.
