Spain. The Confederation of Entrepreneurs supports the regulatory changes required by the Eurovegas project

(Jamma) Arturo Fernandez, vice president of the Spanish Confederation of Enterprises and president of the Madrid Confederation of Enterprises has defined Eurovegas as the project "of the century" and has shown himself in favor of regulatory changes to bring the project to fruition.

Fernandez noted that "at best" early in the new year, work will begin on the entertainment complex, hotel and casino that the Las Vegas Sands company plans to build in Alcorcón. “For Madrid and Spain it will be an important change, given that it creates income and employment. It's the project of the century” he assured.
However, the construction of Eurovegas requires legal changes, such as those relating to the smoking ban envisaged by the Anti-tobacco law, but the vice president of the CEOE is in favor of committing to approve this type of change since he believes that "in large projects they always lead to having to resolve disputed issues”.
