The CEO: “The second half of the year largely confirmed the first”

“The three directions that guided our 2023 were consolidation, innovation and social responsibility. The consolidation, at the end of what was the long tail that characterized the post-Covid period, led us to confirm market shares, thus strengthening the company's positioning. In the first 6 months of 2023 we recorded positive numbers, both in terms of turnover with growth of 10% to 490 million, and in terms of Ebitda, the gross operating margin, which stood at 142 million, with a subsequent half-year, the second, which largely confirmed the first”. In an interview with Adnkronos/Labitalia Fabio Schiavolin (in the photo), CEO of Snaitech, underlined the commitment to further consolidation of investments, with particular attention to digital technology, cybersecurity and, above all, people. “Therefore, we can confidently say that the focal point of 2023 was to consolidate the results obtained and establish ourselves as one of the main players in the gaming sector, both in Italy and in Europe,” he added.

SOON NEW WEBSITE DRIVEN BY AI AND BETSMART TERMINALS

“Innovation is a principle that must be part of the very culture of every society. It means renewing the constant commitment to making Snaitech people active participants in the growth of the company through different and alternative perspectives and models of thought. At a product level, this year Snaitech's innovation has focused on the development of web technologies, such as the new website that we will launch shortly, governed by adaptive artificial intelligence with which we aim to improve the user experience. Furthermore, we are launching new SSBT BetSmart terminals dedicated to retail onto the market – explained Schiavolin, commenting on the company's investments in innovation -. Innovation also means conceiving your organization in a different way and this is why we thought about creating a new dedicated team that will range from strategic marketing to research and scouting, focused on the creation and development of new solutions to propose to the company that they know interpret what will be the needs of future generations. In fact, at Snaitech we try to always be at the forefront in transforming our thinking and working processes".

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY LINKED TO EMPLOYEE INVOLVEMENT

“In the context of corporate social responsibility, as well as in the field of innovation, it is essential that Snaitech people live the experience directly. For us, social responsibility is not just an abstract concept, but rather something that is fully shared by every colleague. The key word in this context is involvement, since it best represents the link with corporate social responsibility – declared Schiavolin speaking about the importance of corporate social responsibility for the Group -. Involvement which, to cite some practical examples, has been taking place for several years with the 'Share4Good' project, an initiative which requires the corporate population to propose new projects on which Snaitech will be involved in favor of the community. And then there are active involvement activities in which employees personally participate in initiatives in which the company has invested for some time. In this context – continued Schiavolin – I would like to mention in particular two collaboration projects that involve our company. The first is the one underway with the Rava Foundation, with which we have been collaborating for more than ten years. What most involves our internal community is the support for family homes in Milan, Lucca and Rome, locations coinciding with our offices. Here, our colleagues actively participate through volunteering, offering direct support to these realities. Another noteworthy project, which I personally appreciate for its innovative format, is the support for the 'Let's build the future' Foundation. This is a microfinancing project originated in Lombardy, but which I hope can be replicated at a national level. Through this project, the resources collected by the foundation are distributed wisely to support small projects intended for oratories and parishes. Also in this case, the entire Snaitech population is directly involved in both project-related and organizational activities", concluded Schiavolin.
