He commented: “Already during the planning phase of the 2024 edition, we knew that this event promised further expansion. The rapid sell-out of our first event made clear the need to meet this increased demand. In 2025, with plans for over 10.000 attendees and 400 exhibitors and sponsors, we want to provide the definitive platform for everything related to iGaming and sports betting in Brazil. This development is incredibly exciting for both SBC and the industry, which has supported us in this decision in more ways than we could have hoped for.”

Intended to host the event for at least four years, the new venue offers ample space for more 40.000 m². From Pavilion 4 to the Arts Pavilion, amphitheater, outdoor dining and networking spaces, Riocentro allows SBC to host the largest sports betting and iGaming event not only in Brazil, but in the entire Latin America.

Additionally, Riocentro offers the 4-star Lagune Barra hotel on site and is conveniently located near several hotels within 4 km, all of which offer complimentary shuttle services to the venue, ensuring a frictionless experience for guests. participants.

As for the conference segment, the SBC Summit Rio 2025 will bring together 250 industry experts from Brazil and around the world to share their knowledge, analyze trends and discuss proactive initiatives to further advance the industry and shape the trajectory of the gambling landscape in Brazil.

The program includes discussions on regulatory frameworks, localization complexities, sporting integrity, emerging sponsorship prospects and evolving dynamics between operators, affiliates, regulators, media, service providers and other stakeholders.

The fair calendar was strategically chosen for two main reasons. First, to create a dedicated Brazil event at the beginning of the year, allowing participants to gather valuable market information to inform their annual activities. Secondly, the fair ends right in conjunction with the start of the Brazilian Carnival in February 2025, offering attendees the opportunity to extend their stay in Rio and participate in this incredible cultural experience after attending the SBC Summit Rio.
