(Jamma) A survey of the presence and distribution of scratch cards, lotteries, Superena has started in the Republic of San Marinolotto, and all the other products relating to games authorized by the Italian State but also present in San Marino.
In fact, last July 16, the government gave a mandate to the state institution of games (resolution number 14) to start "Reconnaissance of points of sale in the territory relating to organized games".
A real complete monitoring that will concern the games organized by "subjects licensed or authorized by the autonomous state monopolies agency of the Italian Republic". They let it be known from the institution that a sort of monitoring is already being carried out, especially in bars equipped with slots and electronic gaming terminals, and that in the past tickets or scratch cards issued by unauthorized parties have been removed or confiscated. In fact, the law provides that the institution can also be supported in this activity by personnel belonging to the police corps.
The reconnaissance that has just been arranged will start shortly and at the end a report will be drawn up which can be used to start any actions or initiatives.
In fact, the congress also ordered that the institution continue the “relations with the AAMS in order to prepare a draft agreement according to the provisions of the aforementioned article 9 of Law no. 67/2000″.
Finally, the Authority explains that a feasibility study has already been carried out also for the possibility of San Marino setting up San Marino lotteries or scratch cards, but, without the possibility of extending the initiative to Italy as well, the user base would be too limited and restricted to allow for a jackpot capable of guaranteeing sufficient attraction for success.
