Today, Tuesday 12 March, the first of the three days of Enada 2024 took place. Among the operators in the sector, we asked Fabio Bodini (operator for both physical and online gaming) what his impressions and expectations are from this edition.

“It is easy to deduce that gambling (legal gambling of course) is increasingly aimed at the online world. This year's edition of Enada confirms all this by giving space to many online gaming operators compared to land-based operators that we were used to seeing in past editions of Enada. This is a sign of the fact that the game does not stop, but if anything it moves, so much so that historic AWP producers have been aligning themselves for some time and producing their games both for VLTs and for online gaming platforms with more than satisfactory results .

Careful reflection must be made in view of the new announcement which seems to heavily penalize the current existing situations, such as the elimination of Skins (as they are important collection channels for the relevant dealers), or the limitation of top-ups to each individual account game via PVR reduced to 100 euros per week.

A tender with requirements such as those just mentioned presents us with a truly significant challenge. It is of fundamental importance, in my opinion, to have a solid structure and a competent commercial network. All in all, I am confident because I have seen several dealers determined and ready to face this "new challenge" even if Solomonic decisions for the new tender would allow continuity of work even for smaller operators".
