The AGEM index increased 93,00 points to 1.261,10 in February 2024, an increase of 8,0% from the previous month. Compared to a year ago, the index rose by 310,19 points, or 32,6%. During the past month, eight of the 12 companies in the AGEM index experienced share price increases, resulting in eight positive contributions and four negative contributions to the AGEM index.

The largest positive contributor to the monthly index was Light & Wonder Inc. (NASDAQ: LNW), whose 25,0% increase in stock price resulted in a gain of 52,52 points for the index. Meanwhile, Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) saw its share price increase by 5,1%, leading to a gain of 17,69 points for the index. The largest negative contributor to the index was made by Agilysys (NASDAQ: AGYS), whose 7,1% drop in share price resulted in a loss of 3,48 points for the AGEM index.

All three major U.S. stock indexes rose in February 2024, marking the fourth consecutive month of growth across the board. The NASDAQ rose 6,1% for the month, while the S&P 500 rose 5,1%. Additionally, the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 2,2% from the previous month.
