Stuart Hunter (pictured), chief executive of Clarion Gaming, has launched a call for nominations for the annual ICE Landmarks awards, which recognize individuals and organizations in the global gaming industry who have recorded a milestone or landmark in the 12 months precedents.

11 awards will be presented at the February show, a total marking the number of ICE events held at London's ExCeL since the show moved from Earls Court in 2013. The ICE Landmarks are awarded over the course of a short informal presentation and photo opportunity held on the opening day of the exhibition.

Explaining their origins, Stuart Hunter said: “The ICE Landmarks reflect the central role that the exhibition has and continues to play in providing a launchpad for the biggest era games, including initiatives that have changed the way we entertain the world. In addition to a long list of iconic products, ICE is also the place where the industry chooses to meet and where the fundamental decisions that have shaped the future of the sector are made. The ICE Landmarks are inspired by the show's status on the world stage and recognition that it continues to be the event where the industry celebrates historic events."

Previous ICE Landmarks have covered long-service milestones, company anniversaries, contributions to b2b journalism, initiatives taken to protect the environment, DE&I commitments, charitable fundraisers and safer gambling initiatives. Members of the International industry wishing to nominate an individual or organization for ICE Landmarks should contact [email protected] with candidate details.
