FIRST RACE – PRIZE OF THE 137TH SEASON OF SAN SIRO
The first race of the new season is a maiden mile for 3-year-olds. FIFTH RACE – ROBERTO MILANI AWARD
The last test dedicated to 3-year-olds is the maiden for the females on the mile in which two new entries from two top stables of undoubted quality stand out, Bresciana and Araldica, with the latter slightly preferred only for mere fence reasons, having had better luck in the draw than her rival. Sha Tin will be another with many supporters and should be more comfortable on this more selective track, while Punta Lancia faces the challenge with justified hopes after a promising debut. Also pay attention to Petit Joie and Valdicava, who can run in progress.
SIXTH RACE – OPENING PRIZE
As penultimate, the highlight of the 1st day of galloping in 2024 at the Snai San Siro Hippodrome with the Opening Prize with twenty starters and valid as Tris-Quarté-Quinté. A handicap test reserved for older horses (4 years and over) competing on the characteristic 1.400 meters straight. Pure entertainment but, contrary to what one might think, the nomination is very easy to assign, if only for the merits acquired by Schiele, who opened and closed 2023 on the track and distance and with an excellent return that clarifies his encore ambitions. Obviously the bad guys will emerge from all sides, starting with Jack Folla, another definitely at ease on this track and fresh from two victories in a row, to continue with Charme De Chat and Doze at the top of the weight scale, and with Summer Lady and Daffodil Bloom in the lower part. Sharaze is another hot name, but it's clear that anyone could pop up.
SEVENTH RACE – GALLOP OWNERS UNION AWARD
Closing in style for with a Limited Handicap valid as II Tris always for older horses but over 2.200 meters on a large track. The two heavyweights Rock Life and the guest Super Drago graduate of Agnano not only respect each other, but are also very scary, but, at this difference in kilos, Orologio convinces a little more, also being able to count on a progressing form found and on a more advantageous fence number.
