Christmas' Eve atSnai La Maura Racecourse with the 48th day of the season at a trot and with all the public who can celebrate this occasion with one slice of panettone or pandoro, in addition to the ritual toast, offered by the management of the Milanese plant via Lampugnano 95. In the penultimate release of 2023, waiting for the final meeting di Friday December 29, the program sees on track seven trips starting at 12pm with paid entry (single ticket for 3 euros, free for disabled people with companion) come on gates already open from 11am. There are two tests that emerge in the context: the first, at the start of the program, is the conditional test for 2-year-old horses who have not won 8.000 euros in their career and is valid as Zabul Fi Award, while in the third race, for the Ringostarr Treb Award, a 2700 meter handicap for 3-year-old horses in which winners of up to 40.000 euros in their career will attempt to capitalize on the 20 meter advantage from winners of up to 120.000 euros in their career. PROGRAM
FIRST RUN – ZABUL FI PRIZE
A great start with the conditional test for 2-year-old horses who have not won 8.000 euros in their career in which February and Ngannou will have to work hard to move up from the second row even if they remain the two most esteemed subjects and capable of making a 'big voice'. First Time Roc, on the other hand, has just returned from a valid success which certifies its form and means while balancing the uncomfortable position. Fosciandora Dr, after two successes, made a mistake at the last but has all the means and numbers that could make her the protagonist. Furia Dei Venti also has a strong profile and proposes itself, together with Freccianera Bi, in the role of surprise.
SECOND RACE – DOROTY BAR AWARD
Another conditional test, again for 2-year-old horses, but not winners of 1.000 euros in their career and competing over 2250 metres. Fergus Del Ronco made a good impression in Bologna and, overall, presents himself as a point of reference in a race with many possibilities. Similar discussion for Fiandra St valid on the occasion of the first outing with the new training and expected further progress in this race. Flashback Dance, however, has the means to redeem the recent mistake and proposes itself, with Festacontinua Park and Fantasy Ek, in the role of alternatives. Among the many possible surprises, pay attention to the debutants Fighter and Futuro di Rasty.
THIRD RACE – RINGOSTARR TREB PRIZE
The most eagerly awaited event of the Milanese day is the 2700 meter handicap for 3-year-old horses in which the winners of up to 40.000 euros in their career will try to capitalize on the 20 meter advantage over the winners of up to 120.000 euros in their career. At the start, and with the best number, Enock catches the eye who, thanks to two very important average successes, appears as a 'crystal clear' favorite with the only perplexity of the scheme and the number pressed into the rope. The possible valets of the favorite seem to be Enzo Jet, already second to Enock, and Elite d'Arc, second in the Consolazione del Derby and out of the picture in the Mangelli. Elleboro Dr is the only one to have accepted the engagement at 20 meters and on paper plays the role of surprise. The rest of the participants, although in possession of their legs and equipment, at the moment seem to be slightly out of order.
FOURTH RACE – THE GREATEST GIFT AWARD
In the fourth race, the elderly horses are the protagonists for a try to claim for 8.000 euros entrusted to the hands of the Gentlemen who have not won 40 races during their career. Canal Grande Rob showed that he has form and above all a good feeling with Annalisa Consoli and even from the second row it could be an idea. Training partners Camillo Baba and Zerouno Mmg, thanks to their speed at the start, will have a significant impact both from a tactical and operational point of view and in terms of victory. Bacco Bachò and the fast Callas Grif are aiming for compensation.
FIFTH RACE – GEORGE BAILEY AWARD
Older horses again, but this time in the F/G category competing on 1650 metres, in which Un Grande Ido does not have a sparkling card but, given the context, remains a possible base. Celsius Mabel Fm, null in the result but valid in terms of performance last Thursday in Albenga, thanks to the number on the string appears like an iron placer with a license to win. Call Ek Del Ronco is more than a surprise, but this role rightfully belongs to Brioss. Obviously, the presence of Cis Dell'Olmo weighs on everyone, making a mistake at the last minute and struggling with the last number, but capable of taking a bite out of today's rivals while remaining focused.
SIXTH RACE – EMINEM FONT AWARD
Once again the seniors of category E/D started on the 1650 meters with Cesare Amg who won at the last minute after losing meters and positions at the start showing that he was able to put together a course with a significant average. The return of Colibrì Jet was not as expected but the predictable progress still makes it a sure protagonist. Caio Titus Bond has from his career and curriculum to overcome the competition provided, obviously, he finds the best reasons. Axis Di Girifalco and I Can Steel are the possible surprises.
SEVENTH RACE – LIFE IS WONDERFUL AWARD
The beautiful trotting Christmas Eve at the Snai La Maura Hippodrome ends with the conditional test for 3-year-old horses who have not won 10.000 euros in their career competing over 2250 metres. Eleonora Wind has recently seemed less incisive but, overall, she remains the possible basis for the prediction. Espirito Libre and Evandro Degli Dei have a recent direct line from which Espirito is preferred to Evandro who however remains in the running for the big target. Esteban Bar and Eden Del Ronco cannot be underestimated like Energy Ek and English Sterling in search of the best form.
