Last trotting meeting in January atSnai La Maura Racecourse. Wednesday 31, For the 9th day of the season, are scheduled seven trials starting 13 pm: 40. Two races of some interest: the Superb Capar Award, positioned as the penultimate exit, and the Gunboat Award as the third race. The first, with greater equipment in the afternoon, sees on the track horses aged 5 years and over in Category A/B competing on 1650 metres, while the second is a conditional test for European 3-year-old horses who have not won 32.000 in their career, always on 1650 meters. With paid entrance from via Lampugnano 95 (3 euro single ticket, while free access for minors under 18 and certified disabled people), here is the order of exit on the track.
PROGRAM
FIRST RACE – MADRAS PRIZE
We start with the older horses on the track and the start from the ribbons. Dowtown As in contention for victory given their performances in December and in Bologna in the penultimate place. Domingo Bar, after the stalemate of the French trip, is expected to redeem himself having the means to be able to impose himself. Crystal Ross, on the other hand, is an expert in the pattern, while Cornelia Op is the type with a dry and incisive partial and finally Cristal Dancer appears in top form. It's going to be a great ride.
SECOND RACE – JESOLO GLOW AWARD
Following are the 3-year-old horses who have not won a first prize in their career. Orientation towards the debutants Flash Amg, who passed the qualifying test with a report of absolute value, and Follia Wind also author of a good qualification. The guest Freccia Laksmy is preferred as third choice to Ojay Vs and Faye from Girifalco to be evaluated along the same lines.
THIRD RACE – GUNBOARD PRIZE
And here is the first interesting race of the day. Fakir Roc won and convinced on the track, expressing himself at an average of 1.13, which places him at the top of the forecast. However, inside him he finds top-level opponents such as Follettocar and Fellow Wise As who are fast and have already demonstrated the ability to move their legs quickly. Frankie Bar and Favola Ek complete the field and are certainly not inferior to the previously mentioned rivals.
FOURTH RACE – SOBERANIA PRIZE
Halfway through the meeting in La Maura you see Explosive Ax on the track who hasn't won for some time but has the means to return to success. The Rocca pair, Eclisse Roc and Emah Roc, should be evaluated on the same line as indicated by a precedent from this winter and seem able to have their say in terms of speed characteristics. The constancy and regularity of Eternal Hope, however, could once again represent an important weapon such as to make it more of a surprise like Eland and Epcot Bi.
FIFTH RACE – ORLEAN'S OM AWARD
In the fifth race the Handicap over the distance of 2700 meters with Danish As at the start and fresh from a success in the category that it is not capable of making the winning escape. Aramis Ek is in excellent shape and at ease over the distance and in the scheme he still has the means to be able to recover the penalty tape. Crystal Arc, even with an inconspicuous card, cannot be underestimated like Dingo, who is very dangerous if in top condition. Returning to the start Africa Jet and Call Ek Del Ronco could be the surprises.
SIXTH RACE – SUPERB DEPOSIT PRIZE
Here is the highlight of the afternoon in Milan with Zandroz who, during the last outings, showed his full potential by winning and convincing with partials and strength; premises that make it a favourite”crystalline”. Fiorano, after ten victories and several last placings, ended up disqualified but his number combined with his remarkable speed at the start make him a sure protagonist. Cosmo Spritz, in terms of potential, is second to none but the way he approaches racing often doesn't allow him to get what he deserves. Dakovo Mail and Brillant Ferm at the start in the second row play the role of surprise with the very fast Vesna returning and dealing with a complex positioning.
SEVENTH RACE – ILLINOIS PRIZE
The gentlemen close the 9th day of the trotting season at the Snai La Maura Hippodrome in Milan with the test for horses aged 5 years and over in the F/E category on 1650 meters and valid as II Tris. Du Quoin As is able to repeat the very easy success obtained two weeks ago, always paired with his owner. Zeus Ek reserves the classic position placement while his training partners, Bel Gnaro Lucy and Canal Grande Rob, have the possibility of moving up from the second row albeit with different characteristics. Many surprises: starting from Zar Dei Baba passing through Cezanne Grif arriving at Cristal Joyeuse. Finally, pay attention to Dominator Bar who sooner or later will be able to finish the journey and show his real value.
