In the heat, Fausto Barelli's horse worked on the outside exposed, taming the pacesetter Zingrid Bigi in the final with an average of 1.13.8, with Zeno Tab and Vico del Ronco occupying the remaining places. In final the German tried again, taking the lead after 400 meters and completing one km in 1.17.7, but in the final 400 the progression of Captain Pi left him no chance: Mrs. Filomena Calesso's standard bearer prevailed with an average of 1.14.9, while River Flow was also beaten for second place by Zingrid Bigi, who finished well after a recovery run.

In Livio Prize of the Pri, the invitation to the mounted trot, performed in a perfect "escape to victory" Cicerone Jet which Giorgio Cassani, taking advantage of the good position at the first ribbon, projected into the lead after Cristalda Col's error: Francesco Tufano's horse imposed the pace selective that cut off the legs of his pursuers and achieved a clear victory with an average of 1.16.2. Amore Stecca worked hard on the outside but struggled in the straight line: even Silverado Lux (who had been the fastest in the turn) never managed to get close to the winner and on the post he was caught by Troublemaker for second place but at least saved third from Zanza Franck (finished very strong).
