Horses on the track from 12pm
After the beautiful and exciting edition of the Milan Cup on the day of Sant'Ambrogio, with the victory of Caronte Trebì led by Pietro Gubellini, theSnai La Maura Racecourse of Milan returns as protagonist with a new day of trotting, the 46th season, scheduled Sunday December 17 starting 12 pm: 50 (gates at via Lampugnano 95 open from 11:00 am with paid entry: 3 euros full, 5 euros family, free for handicapped and disabled people).
For paying public, during the afternoon, will be offered hot chocolate or one spritzer as an aperitif, while the services of diner and bar indoors and the cloister bar on the slopes. But let's go to the program, structured yes seven runs with highlighted, in addition to three conditioned tests, Home Goal Trophy sponsored by Fabio Marchino, Gentleman owner of the stable of the same name who combines his passion for horse racing with the work from which the trophy reserved for the Gentlemen with horses aged 5 years and over competing on the distance of 1650 meters in category E with two preliminary heats and then the final at the end of the meeting.
Opening of the day at 12pm precisely with the Home Goal Trophy, in which older horses entered were assigned numbers based on their rankings Tris to then be divided into the two tests based on the odd and even criteria and the Finalists, i first 4 for each heat and who will compete for the trophy, will have the starting numbers respecting the initial assessment of the entire race. Each test will see drivers starting without a whip.
In first battery Captain Ip, for one reason or another, struggles to find himself but in the context he catches the eye appearing as the clear point of reference. Zingrid Bigi, in fact, after the success achieved on her return, obtained a valid placing which gives her a legitimate chance of victory. Aladin Bar, fresh from clear success on the track, has his consistency and flexibility which opens the doors to the podium for him. Zeus Ek, another horse with incredible consistency, together with the very fast Zeno Tab are aiming for a placing while Vico Del Ronco and Alcoy Dei Greppi are the surprises.
Immediately after that, here it is second battery of the Home Goal Trophy with eyes focused on the Rive Flow guest with a reliable guide and with equally certified form. Cristal Joyeuse, thanks to a card made up of several placings, is a sure protagonist. Bolt Prav and Vortice Op book access to the Final while Zenit del Ronco perched on the rope and Troi Holz represent the classic outsiders.
Also interesting is the evidence of Mounted trot to the penultimate of the meeting and valid as Pri's Livio Prize; the now usual discipline on the ski slopes Snai racetracks in Milan and Montecatini Terme this time there is an invitational handicap on the distance of 1650 meters in which attention is directed towards the five penalized by 20 metres, in particular Zanza Frank and Silverado Lux, who arrived in line on the occasion of the last outing with prevalence of the former but with Silverado able to take revenge. Also among the penalized, the guest Troblemaker has the means to impose himself and make up for the last mistake on the track just as the 'King' of the Solcio Zl specialty cannot be underestimated, returning from a few months of stoppage but indomitable and always ready to attack winning. At the start, all eyes turned to Cristalda Col, who returned to victory on the sulky on the penultimate outing. Biscuit Del Nord and Cicerone Jet are the possible surprises.
For the conditioned tests we start with the Sile Poplar Award positioned as third race. On the track, 4-year-old horses who have not won 10.000 euros in their career. Dardo Bargal has seemed to improve in recent outings, achieving two third places which do not deserve what he has shown and, given the context, he is at the top of the forecast. The main alternatives seem to be in the second row with Delise Tc in possession of an interesting final reach which is preferable to D'Annunzio Fi who is powerful and capable of building runs and Dragone who goes faster than it might seem. Returning to the front row, pay attention to Dobar D'Aghi who, remaining concentrated and available for use, has the means to be the protagonist and overcome the number off while Divina Del Sile is perched on the rope. Dragonero Fi the possible outsider.
This is followed, on the fourth outing in the afternoon, by the conditioning for 2-year-old horses who have not won 3.000 euros in their career and is valid for Docena Award. Fonzie Mabel, after the mistake on his debut on the track, won in 2.01 in Turin which makes him the point of reference. Faye Del Ronco, after finishing second on her first outing, made a mistake in Rome but deserves maximum attention as does Franzis Dance. Training partners Farfuglia Gnafà and Oja Vs, nominated in strict starting order, can be expected to make progress like Fulmine Vad.
On the fifth race, for the Ravel Ek Award, conditioned for 2-year-old horses who have not won 5.000 euros in their career competing over 2250 metres. Follia d'Esi has not confirmed the excellent debut but the visual impression remains intact and deserves total trust for a prompt redemption. Training partner Fastday Prav, perched on the rope and with two places of honor, aims to extend the series. Fly Away Gar, powerful but up to now mixed in performance, is more of the third name while the guests Fiordalisa Blu, Frankie Muttley and Face To Face Effe, supported by good form, play a surprise role.
