Horses on the track starting from 12pm with paid entry
All 'Snai La Maura Racecourse of Milan second Sunday of the new year with the 4th seasonal day of trot. On the trail of via Lampugnano 95, 12 pm: 50, with the gates open to the public from 12:00 with entrance fee (3 euro single ticket, while it is free for children under 18 and certified disabled people), will be seven tests of the program including two interesting races: the first is the Casei Breeding Award, conditioned for 3-year-old horses who have not won 6.000 euros in their career, while the second is the Casei Zinia Award, always a conditional test but for 4-year-old horses who have not won 20.000 euros in their career competing over a distance of 2250 metres.
The entire meeting is dedicated toCasei breeding a reality born in Casei Gerola, in the province of Pavia, which has become increasingly consolidated over time thanks to the founders Antonio Giglio and his wife Eli, both motivated by a passion for trotting horses. Over the years, the stud farm gained notoriety thanks to the results achieved by its registered horses on the track “of Casei”, among which they stood out as winners of the classics Card, Linda, Knows, ber e Casei boom. A passion that he then passed on to Isabella, veterinary doctor, daughter of Antonio and Eli, and who he has been running the breeding farm since 2018 helped by her son Oscar and her partner Antonio Storti.
Returning to the Sunday program on the La Maura circuit, let's see, in chronological order, what the day has in store.
PROGRAM
FIRST RACE – LINDA DI CASEI PRIZE
Start with conditioning only for 4-year-old mares who have not won 15.000 euros in their career in which Elegante Se, fresh from brilliant success at a significant average on the small track, presents herself as the mare to beat for her training partners Ecstasy and Eleonora Wind between which we prefer the first already evident on several occasions on the track. The other pair who are training partners and come from Bareggio, Elalla Jet and Eva d'Arc, also deserve the utmost respect while the fast Evidence Ferm plays a surprise role.
SECOND RACE – CASEI BREEDING AWARD
This is followed by an interesting conditioning featuring 3-year-old horses who have not won 6.000 euros in their career. Fonzie Mabel, with two successes to his credit, is aiming decisively for the trio, while Fortedeimarmi Dr, after two good placings, appears on paper as a difficult opponent to beat. Similar speech for Fergus Del Ronco who has also already highlighted himself with placings and successes. Felsen Ferm, dealing with complex placement, and Funky Roc, are the main alternatives.
THIRD RACE – CASEI COLTWINE AWARD
Crowded handicap in the third race in which the older horses, competing over a distance of 2700 metres, are entrusted to the guidance of the Gentlemen in which those belonging to category F will have to make up for 20 meters of penalties to those belonging to category G. The penalized Uragano Op and Universo Jet , close-knit with their respective owners and above all very expert in the scheme, share the prediction. At the start many are contemplating an escape starting with Desdemona Ross with guests Carlos Di Ruggi and Zeno Tab ready to intervene. Always at the start, pay attention to Dragone and Visto del Nord, who are very dangerous if they manage to stay focused from start to finish. Among the penalized, in addition to the pair of favorites Aspromonte Jet and Colonna Cas, they are worth something more than compensation.
FOURTH RACE – CASEI ALCHEMY AWARD
Halfway through the meeting, the conditioning for 3-year-old horses who have not won 1.000 euros in their career. Floris Day Bar, thanks to experience and an overall decent CV with two placings, is the first choice, while the debutants Furiabuia Font and Fuoco Del Ronco can already show themselves to be competitive in terms of success on a par with Francy Indal, also at first experience on the track. Fleur Bi and Freedom Lz are expected to progress and play a surprise role.
FIFTH RACE – BITHIA DI CASEI PRIZE
At the fifth race the conditioning for 3-year-old horses who have not won 4.000 euros in their career over the distance of 2250 meters. Fruttosio and Fornarina Ross have both already won a race and offer themselves as clear points of reference even if, after their success, they have not repeated themselves. Faber SM has also already won and despite the unknown of returning, it remains the third choice. Frisee Kb Font and Feng from Casei deserve maximum attention and reserve the marker. An objective also within reach of Formidable and Friday.
SIXTH RACE – ZINIA DI CASEI AWARD
As the penultimate of the day, the other key test in La Maura is the conditioning for 4-year-old horses who have not won 20.000 euros in their career over a distance of 2250 metres. Epicureo Jet, at his first with Mauro Baroncini's training, made an excellent impression by preceding some of today's opponents and could be an idea on a par with the fast and regular Elalunadisse Bigi in top form. Ear Da came into line with the two aforementioned opponents at the last outing and therefore must be placed on the same line as Every Time Winner, Epicureo's training partner in the last period, which proved to be decidedly too dispersive even if, in terms of engine , seems to have something more than its rivals. Watch out for the returning Ebano Degli Dei.
SEVENTH RACE – BREILA DI CASEI AWARD
The beautiful Sunday afternoon ends with the competition for the 4-year-old horses in which Enorme Nap, thanks to a long series of victories and places of honour, is in good shape thanks to the best number and therefore has all the conditions to be able to extend the positive streak. Elodie Stecca and Estella Bar, given the context, cannot avoid a leading role, while Evolution, dealing with complex placement, and the dispersive Elite Cam, play a surprise role.
