PROGRAM
FIRST RACE – MUSCLETONE PRIZE
Muscletone who won the Amérique twice in 1935 and 37, is the opening test of the Milanese trotting day. This is a challenge for older horses competing over a distance of 2250 metres. Baroncini's other student, Freedom Lz, received betting attention on her last outing. Fuentes and Farfuglia Gnafà are the pawns of two teams to be respected, while Futuro Vis' Roman debut was certainly positive. With little "paper" available, the indications coming from betting will be useful.
THIRD RACE – MYSTERY PRIZE
The third race is dedicated to Mistero, an Italian horse who won the Grand Prix with Cavalier Romolo Ossani in 1947. Among the 3-year-old horses of this conditioning, Freccia emerges who made a good debut even if he has the obstacle of the number to overcome and considering that the two pawns of Divignano will start inside, with Falstaff Laksmy author of a promising debut (even if it dates back to November), and Ferilli Grif who wears the jacket of Jean Pierre Barjon. Looming above all is Fonte, here at Fausto Barelli's first training outing after two tests in Rome in which he had demonstrated that he had a good engine. Be careful with betting.
FOURTH RACE – VARENNE PRIZE
On the fourth release here is the test with greater equipment. It is the Varenne Prize, winner of the Prix d'Amérique in two consecutive editions in 2001 and 2002. With the gentlemen in the seats of C/E/G category subjects divided over three ribbons, there is a Creso Risaia Trgf that is going strong but he has to make up for the double penalty – among other things over the short distance – and therefore it will not be an easy task. The second band likes Blasco Real, a subject suitable for these races, who however hasn't raced for over three months. Zafira is running well and has a position to exploit, Desdemona Ross must be verified in the scheme, Chicca Ross practically never leaves the marker, Cash Back Font has the same chances as her in the category.
FIFTH RACE – PREMIO DE SOTA
After the Varenne Prize, in the fifth race we find the prize dedicated to De Sota, another Italian who achieved a double in 1938 and 39 with Alexandre Finn on the sulky. The finale of Express D'Arc at the last outing is there for all to see, but this time in La Maura there are tough rivals. Elegant Gso in the previous sortie in Milan was not racing but he promptly redeemed himself in Florence and if the negative parenthesis was an episodic fact, then he will be a bad customer for everyone. Ear Da didn't steal the eye last time, Elalunadisse Bigi ran much better and is the other candidate.
SIXTH RACE – NEWSTAR AWARD
The sixth test is also interesting, the one named after Newstar, winner on the charcoal track of Vincennes-Paris in the 1962 edition. This is a conditional test for 3-year-old horses and sees among the starters, despite the number in the second row, Fashion Grif that could have something more than its rivals. It's true, Funky Roc won well at the last outing and is expected to confirm, and then there are Felsen Ferm and Freia Sl who followed their peer from Sant'Eusebio on that occasion, so they can still have their say. Fornarina Ross and Figlio dei Venti surprises her.
SEVENTH RACE – MIGHTY NED AWARD
Closing the beautiful Sunday of trotting and celebration for families at the Snai La Maura Racecourse was the Mighty Ned Prize who made Amérique his in 1948. Another test for the gentlemen with Estella Bar who could have achieved a good result at the last exit without an error on entry into the straight line. Easy Quite Fbs finished second in the same race finishing very well and is led by Fabio Marchino. Evelyn's, Enos, Enchante' and Einstein are other possible options in a very open race.
