Seven races scheduled, horses on the track starting from 12 pm
All 'Snai La Maura Racecourse, Sunday January 7, the second day is scheduled of trot of 2024 with a program consisting of seven trips starting at 12pm and with gates of via Lampugnano 95 open from 12:00 with Paid entry (3 euro single ticket, while it is free for children under 18 and certified disabled people).
The third race holds sway for the Red Chief Award, test with more equipment and valid as a handicap on the distance of 1650 meters for 4-year-old horses in which the winners of up to 16.000 euros in their career will try to exploit the 20 meter advantage over the winners of up to 44.000 euros in their career. The other races are also not to be underestimated, some of them very interesting. But let's see the complete picture and in order of release on track.
PROGRAM
FIRST RACE – NILE OF THE GODS PRIZE
Starting with the conditional trial for 3-year-old horses who have not won 3.000 euros in their career entrusted to the Gentlemen with Fantastico Reaff who has been back for several months but in the two races held in his career he had made quite an impression and, despite the unknowns of his return, it is a possible basis for the prediction. Curiosity for Force Mail upon his return from the Swedish period during which he still showed consistency and regularity. The consideration of the rest of the participants was decidedly more fluid with Formidable, the debutant Fleur Joyeuse and Fulmine Vad being preferred to the others.
SECOND RACE – ST. PRIZE ETIENNE
Another conditional test, but this time for the new 3-year-old horses who have not won 8.000 euros in their career, in which Figurati stands out, an elite brand with Jean Pierra Dubois in the control room, capable of winning both races held so far: the first on the short course with an average of 1.14.6 while the second in Albenga made a valid impression on the 2000 metres. Fosciandora Dr, thanks to his remarkable speed at the start, booked second place. Fergus Del Ronco, fresh from a very clear tactical victory, and Furbetto Di Giò, have the qualities to carve out a space on the podium.
THIRD RACE – RED CHIEF AWARD
In the third race, the one with the most equipment, here is the highlight of the day in Milan with a Handicap over the distance of 1650 meters for 4-year-old horses in which the winners of up to 16.000 euros in their career will try to exploit the 20 meter advantage over the winners up to to 44.000 euros in his career. At the start Elonmusk Jet stands out, scoring an average of absolute value at the last and, previously, already winner in a handicap, showing that he adapts to the type of race. Also at the start Express d'Arc which, although delayed in time, presents thick paper and reserves a place on the podium with Estelle Matto. The three penalized will have to work hard to recover the disadvantage with Eres Dorial Mail being preferred to Esedomani.
FOURTH RACE – SWAN PG AWARD
Conditioned for 4-year-old horses who have not won 7.000 euros in their career in the middle of the meeting in which the guest Eucalion, strong in victories and placings in series, including the one already obtained on the track, appears capable of coming to the head of the competition. Excellent MSC, on the contrary, has little paper as indicated by the mistakes made but has the means and position to redeem itself. Etranger Joyeuse clocked 1.59 for the two victories and, obviously, appears ready to play the leading role. A role that rightfully also belongs to Emiro d'Esi, fresh from a resounding success in Albenga with an average of 1.13.7. The powerful Eridan and Evita Di Venere are the first surprises in a test decidedly open to different solutions.
FIFTH RACE – ELISA ROSA PRIZE
This is followed by the test for older horses to claim 8.000 euros who will battle over the distance of 1650 metres. Among the starters is D'Annunzio. Fi has the shape, means and experience to deal with traffic and the steps to get up from the second row. Crazy Cast also won the last two races and plays the role of first alternative, with the fast Camillo Baba who will try to defend himself for a long time avoiding the usual decline in the final stretch. Diablo Roc, expected but with a handicap error Tris-Quartè-Quintè, has the means to fit in and deserves maximum attention. Dj Dei Veltri and Bolt Prav could have their say.
SIXTH RACE – NICE ZOOSTER AWARD
Penultimate of the afternoon with the Handicap on 1650 meters for older horses in which those belonging to category G will try to capitalize on the 20 meters advantage from only Dauphin Joyeuse belonging to category E, while the third ribbon reserved for category C horses has been deserted . Precisely the aforementioned Dauphin, thanks to a notable consistency of performance combined with notable flexibility, as indicated by the success obtained in the handicap combined with the Tris-Quartè-Quintè held on the Milanese track, it appears as first choice. At the start, however, the most powerful seems to be Captain Harlock with valid potential but not easy to manage. Drujba, with the right number, would be in good shape but she is burdened by the pitfalls of lack of reliability as attested by the various breakdowns. Alonso will have to extricate himself from the rope of the second row while the expert Urla Del Ronco and Dardo Bargal play a surprise role.
SEVENTH RACE – LINUS DEL CIGNO AWARD
The 2nd day of the trotting season at the Snai La Maura Hippodrome closes with the conditioned test for 3-year-old maiden horses, looking for their first career success. Frenzis Dance, thanks to the second place obtained at the last, has a good chance against Floris Day Bar, valid at its debut and to be expected in clear progress; Fastday Prav, on the other hand, has been on the list for some time given the suite of consecutive second places and Faerless Font and Favola Bar also climbed onto the intermediate step of the podium at the last and, despite their complex numbers, they deserve the utmost attention. Falerno Play has consistency on its side which makes it an obvious point of reference in terms of the podium.
